This course is designed to help you discover your authentic comic voice — no experience needed.

A lively 5-week comedy writing course at a cosy, charming cafe in Belsize Park. Great coffee and cake, good vibes and plenty of laughs — the perfect place to ease into comedy.

This is a writing-only course. No performing in class, so you can build confidence without pressure. All stage time is saved for the optional showcase at the legendary Washington Pub.

Across five weeks, you’ll try fun, guided writing exercises, share material and develop your jokes with supportive, constructive feedback.

You’ll finish with your own material and — if you choose — the thrill of performing it live.

Perfect for beginners, curious first-timers and comedy fans. More experienced comics welcome too.
